FSc Chemistry Book2, CH 9, LEC 1: The Huckle's Rule & Aromaticity

This video lecture from Aromatic HydroCarbons (F.Sc. second year Chemistry) covers: the Huckle’s rule which dictates the Aromaticity of hydrocarbons. Hydrocarbons have been classified in detail and later the Huckle’s rule has been explained which is based on molecular orbital theory. A hydrocarbon is said to be aromatic if its structure is that of Annulene (cyclic structure with alternate double bonds), and further it is planar geometry with odd number of double bonds.
